Description
Carmen Suite No. 1 is a 12 minute orchestral suite compiled posthumously in 1885 by the French composer Ernest Guiraud. Using the original music from Georges Bizet’s iconic 1875 opera, Carmen. Guiraud adhered strictly to Bizet’s original orchestration to compress the intense drama and character dynamics into a shorter symphonic presentation. It is arranged here for 3 flutes and alto flute. Advanced level.
